Throughout the long history of the Great Controversy between good and evil, the Hebrew God of Israel has been shrouded in mystery, especially the mysterious Presence of the “Glory of the Lord” in the Most Holy Place of the sanctuary itself which was called the “Shekinah.” Even in the official Church Hymnal there is a song of consecration on page 279 which mentions the Shekinah in the 2nd stanza: “The temple has been yielded, and purified of sin; Let Thy Shekinah glory Now shine forth from within. And all the earth keep silence, The body henceforth be, Thy silent gentle servant, Moved only as by Thee.” In spite of this song and 36 SOP references to this same “Shekinah” there is almost total ignorance regarding the truth about her, especially that the Shekinah is a feminine entity and being and has other names as well which will be revealed as you continue to read.

The topic of this article is dealing with Level Number 6, “The Feminine Image of God.” An understanding of this subject will prepare us for Level Number 7, Transformation and Translation. Paul wrote: “I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of all the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies presenting all your members and faculties as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the (entire) renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].” Amplified. Rom 12:1, 2.

The only way the reality of the above Scripture appeal could ever be accomplished in any person’s life is for them to allow the Holy Ghost to enter into their hearts and minds so fully that they truly can live the health reform like Daniel and John the Baptist and have the perfectly humble attitude and spirit of Jesus. “Now, while our great High Priest is making the atonement for us, we should seek to become perfect in Christ. Not even by a thought could our Saviour be brought to yield to the power of temptation….this is the condition in which those must be found who shall stand in the time of trouble.” GC 623. Compare Matt 5:48 in which Jesus says that we should be “perfect” even as our heavenly Father is perfect. In order for this to happen in our lives today we must allow the Holy Ghost to fill us the same as it did those early disciples on the day of Pentecost. Now, let us study on this important topic of the Shekinah glory whom I believe is the Holy Ghost.

Although this Shekinah glory was a visible presence in the cloud it was not understood. “Above the Mercy Seat was the Shekinah, the manifestation of the divine Presence; and from between the cherubim, God made known His will. Divine messages were sometimes communicated to the high priest by a voice from the cloud. Sometimes a light fell upon the angel at the right, to signify approval or acceptance, or a shadow or cloud rested upon the one at the left to reveal disapproval or rejection. No language can describe the glory of the scene within the sanctuary, the gold-plated walls reflecting the light from the golden candlestick, the brilliant hues of the richly embroidered curtains with their shining angels, the table, and the altar of incense, glittering with gold; beyond the second veil the sacred ark, with its mystic cherubim, and above it the holy Shekinah, the visible manifestation of Jehovah’s presence; all but a dim reflection of the glories of the temple of God in heaven, the great center of the work for man’s redemption.” PP 349.

A few weeks ago a special book was supernaturally sent to me by a friend. The title of the book is “The Hebrew Goddess,” written by an imminent Jewish Rabbi and internationally acclaimed author of 35 books. Within the 368 pages of this volume is the most valuable information I have come across so far about the Shekinah and the Cherubim, as well as many other topics I have never heard of, much less studied. Because I am offering this book in this paper I am only going to share a few quotes. In chapter three he talks about the Cherubim. He explains that although the making of “graven images” was expressly forbidden in the Ten Commandments there was a special exception to this law when it came to “the Cherubim, those winged human figures which were an integral part, of all the Hebrew and Jewish sanctuaries and temples. The Cherubim were, by any criteria, ‘graven images,’ and they continued to figure prominently in the Temple ritual down to the very end of the Second Jewish Commonwealth (70 AD). Moreover, in their last version the Cherubim depicted a man and a woman in sexual embrace, an erotic representation which was considered obscene by the pagans when they at last had a chance to glimpse it. (When the temple was invaded by the Romans and destroyed in AD 70). And nevertheless, the entire contemporary and subsequent Hebrew/Jewish literature contains not a word that could in the remotest be construed as a condemnation of the Cherubim. On the contrary, their presence in the Holy of Holies, the innermost sanctuary of the temple, and the ritual significance attributed to them, are invariably referred to as a most sacred mystery. Since one of the two Cherubim was a female figure, we find that, in addition to the Canaanite goddesses whose worship was condemned by the Hebrew prophets and Jewish sages, the Temple of Jerusalem contained a representation of the female principle which was considered legitimate at all times.” The Hebrew Goddess. This chapter continues on to page 95. The next chapter is entitled: “The Shekinah” and goes from page 96 to 111 with more incredible insights and information. He also explains why the Jews emphasized a “Masculine Godhead,” when the language itself, in its very nature, has either the masculine or the feminine gender in every noun. So, the apostasy of ancient Israel affected the truth about the Godhead as well as the nature, personality, character and work of the Messiah. On pages 122 to 125 he discusses the Father and the Mother as well as the Son and the daughter. He explains the ancient belief of the “supernal Tetrad.” Tetrad means “a group of four and the number four from the Greek word ‘Tetra.'” On page 116 the author explains the meaning of the Tetragrammaton. “In the Bible, God is referred to by several names, such as El, Elohim, Sahddai, Yahweh, or a combination of these.

The ancient Biblical Tetragrammaton, Yahweh (YHWH), is regarded in the Kabbala as an abbreviated symbol of four divine elements which form part of the deity. The four elements are Hokhma (Wisdom), Bina (Understanding), Tiferet (Beauty), and Malkhut (Kingship). Moreover, Wisdom is identified with the Father, Understanding with the Mother, Beauty with the Son, and Kingship with the Daughter. These four divine concepts form the Kabbalistic tetrad. One passage in the Zohar, for instance, states that ‘the letter Y in the name YHWH is called Father and stands for Wisdom; the first H is the Supernal Mother, called Understanding; and the W and the second H are the two children, a son and a daughter, who were crowned by their mother. (See Song of Solomon 3:11). A related passage explains: Wisdom spread out and brought forth Understanding, and they were found to be male and female, Wisdom the Father, and Understanding the Mother. Then these two united, and lighted up each other, and the H [i.e., the Mother] conceived and gave birth to a Son. Through the birth of the Son the Father and the Mother found their perfection [tiqqun], and this led to the completion of everything, the inclusion of everything: Father, Mother, Son and Daughter.” Zohar 3. 290a.

This visible presence of the Shekinah was a continual and perpetual reminder of the original glorious plan for the human race God had from the beginning. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the earth.” Gen 1:27, 28.
And so from the very beginning we see that God put His blessing on the act of procreation between a men and women. And yet this is the very command of the Lord that has been under the most severe and demonic attack from the time of creation, especially against the woman. “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” Gen 3:15, 16. A modern paraphrase says: “Then God said to the woman, ‘You shall bear children in intense pain and suffering; yet even so, you shall welcome your husband’s affections, and he shall be your master.” Gen 3:16. LB. The Message Bible reads: “He told the woman: ‘I’ll multiply your pains in childbirth; you’ll give birth to your babies in pain. You’ll want to please your husband, but he’ll lord it over you.”

This third chapter of Genesis is filled with curses against both mankind and planet earth. In Rom 8:31 Paul tells us that God is always for us, never against us. And James 3:8-11 rebukes those who pronounce curses on their fellow men. So, who was this “lord god” who was pronouncing these awful curses on Adam and Eve as well as the earth? It could not have been our lovely Jesus, who taught us to “Bless them that curse you.” Luke 6:28. And that Jesus who “redeemed us from the curse of the law.” So, whose law would have a “curse” in it to start with? It was the law that said if you eat of this tree you will die. Gen 2. That was the beginning of the Law of Sin and death which Jesus came to abolish. Romans 8:1-3. Heb 2:14-16. In Rev 22:3 we are promised that there “shall be no more curse.” So, every time you read about a “God or Lord” in the OT pronouncing curses you know that is Lord Satan.

So, we see that the Scriptures as well as the life of Jesus contradict this negative perspective regarding the curses coming from our wonderful heavenly Father. Furthermore, we also see that the Creator intended for the human race to procreate and fill the earth with children. For example Psalm 127:3_5. “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that has his quiver full of them.” No where else in the 66 books of the holy scriptures are these foul curses repeated against man or the earth. In fact, the very opposite is continually repeated. The Lord exalts in the fact that He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He is not ashamed of this mighty act but exalts about it over and over again. “I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.” Isa 45:12, 13. Of course, this same Creator acknowledges that there has been a delay in the fulfillment of His ultimate plan but never does He abandon His children either in the Old Testament or the New but always promises, “I am your God and Saviour and I am always with you.” “Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto Me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall swear…In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.” Isa 45:22_25. Incredible. In the face of seeming defeat our God declares victory! What a wonderful heavenly Father we have who looks into the future and declares that we all are going to be “justified.” Jesus said this about Wisdom. “But Wisdom is justified of her children (works).” Matt 11:19; Luke 7:35.

Now, beloved, consider this: Why would she (Wisdom, our true Mother) need to be justified unless she had been slandered? Think about it! Isn’t it amazing that even her very own children have been led to accuse and condemn her: “But Zion said, The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me. (Then the Mother answers) Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” Isa 49:14, 15.

Like the loving Father and Mother that they are God spoke to Israel:

“Listen to me, all who follow the right and seek the Lord: look to the rock from which you were hewn, …look to your father Abraham and to Sarah who gave you birth: When I called him he was but one, I blessed him and made him many. The Lord has indeed comforted Zion, comforted all her ruined homes, turning her wilderness into an Eden, her thirsty plains into a garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness shall be found in her…hear me, O my nation; for my law shall shine forth and I will flash the light of my judgement over the nations. My victory is near, my deliverance has gone forth and my arm shall rule the nations.” Isaiah 51:1_5.

Zion and “my nation” here are the same as God’s chosen in the end time, even His Elect and Wise Ones who cannot be deceived. Matt 24:24; Dan 12. Now, let’s continue on with our study of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai with Moses and the Shekinah glory.
After six months the sanctuary was finally completed. “With eager interest the multitudes of Israel crowded around to look upon the sacred structure. While they were contemplating the scene with reverent satisfaction, the pillar of cloud floated over the sanctuary and, descending, enveloped it. ‘And the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.’ There was a revealing of the divine majesty, and for a time even Moses could not enter. With deep emotion the people behold the token that the work of their hands was accepted.” Patriarchs & Prophets 350.

Years ago in my study of Exodus 14 I discovered that there was both a light side and a dark side to this divine cloud. In v 19 we see the cloud identified as an “angel” by this Hebrew parallelism. “And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:” Notice that the phrase “angel of the Lord” is a parallel to “pillar of the cloud.”

Paul also uses this same kind of Hebrew poetry in I Cor 10:1_4. “And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat (food); And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.” Here Paul makes a parallel between the identity of the Rock and the cloud both being Christ.

Now, let’s talk about the fire. Who was the fire? In the Hebrew language fire is always in the feminine as is all of nature, that’s why she is called Mother Nature. The Holy Ghost is also in the feminine. So, it makes sense that the tongues of fire was also our true mother who filled them with Her divine Presence on the day of Pentecost. Acts 2. “Coming between the host of Egypt and the host of Israel. It was a cloud and darkness to the Egyptians, but it gave light by night to the Israelites; and the one host came not near the other all night.” Ex 14:20. Now, we see that there was a “dark” side to the cloud as well as a “light” side. There was also literal destructive fire which came from the cloud. This is where it becomes extremely important that we understand GOD DOES NOT KILL OR DESTROY. Jesus clearly revealed this truth in His life and death. Furthermore, Luke and Paul both confirm that Satan is the destroyer. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38. Cf Luke 13:16. “Neither murmur (grumble), as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.” I Cor 10:10.

The Hebrew word for “destroyer” is Shatach and never refers to Elohim or Yahweh, the true God. Exodus 12:23, 24 also proves that it was Satan who destroyed the first born. “For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.” Notice here that you have the Lord is who going to destroy and then you have the second or true Lord who will pass over (pause at) or stand in front of the Lord door to protect His people who have the blood over their homes.

When Korah, Dathan, Abiram and the 250 rebellious princes rose up against the leadership of Moses they came under the power of the death God and died when the earth parted or “opened up” and the rebels went down alive into the pit, with all that pertained to them, and “they perished from among the congregation.” PP 400, 401. We know that God does not bring earthquakes which is what caused the earth to split open, therefore, Satan was the one who killed Korah, Dathan and Abiram. See Isaiah 14:16 & GC 589, 590.
“But the judgments were not ended. Fire flashing from the cloud consumed the two hundred and fifty princes who had offered incense.” PP 401. Now notice this paragraph from the same page: “Jesus, the angel who went before the Hebrews, sought to save them from destruction. Forgiveness was lingering for them. The judgment of God had come very near, and appealed to them to repent. A special, irresistible interference from heaven had arrested their rebellion.” PP 401. So, we see that the cloud had two aspects, a dark side and a light side. A side of forgiveness and life from Jesus and a side of judgment and death from Satan.

So, there we have the Two Lords right there in the cloud itself. Amazing.
Now let’s talk about Satan’s relationship with the Ark of the Covenant. In I Chron 13 we read that on David’s first attempt to bring the ark of the covenant to Jerusalem a terrible disaster took place, which was the death of Uzzah. I Chron 13:9_14. This was a huge set back and disappointment to David’s effort to bring up the ark from Kirjathjearim in the house of Abinadab where it had been for 95 years since the days of Samuel, I Sam 7, 1140 BC to 1045 BC. Uzzah’s death raises the question as to what part Satan played in the animal sacrifice system of laws and ceremonies in the sanctuary service of the Aaronic or Levitical priesthood which was abolished and replaced by the Melchisedec priesthood when Jesus came. Hebrews 7.

Most Christians assume that God told Adam to kill the first animal, and thus set up the whole animal slaughter system through Adam and his descendants down to the time of Moses. And also that the Father Himself was the One who planned the crucifixion of His only Son. But this is both a lie and a slander against the Father’s character.

Listen: “Christ’s betrayal, trial, and crucifixion were all planned by the fallen foe. His hatred, carried out in the death of the Son of God, placed Satan where his true diabolical character was revealed to all created intelligence that had not fallen through sin. The holy angels were horror-stricken that one who had been of their number could fall so far as to be capable of such cruelty. Every sentiment of sympathy or pity which they had ever felt for Satan in his exile, was quenched in their hearts. That his envy should be exercised in such revenge upon an innocent person was enough to strip him of his assumed robe of celestial light, and to reveal the hideous deformity beneath; but to manifest such malignity toward the divine son of God, who had with unprecedented self-denial, and love for the creatures formed in his image, come from heaven and assumed their fallen nature, was such a heinous crime against heaven that it caused the angels to shudder with horror, and sever forever the last tie of sympathy existing between Satan and the heavenly world (3SP 183, 184).” 5BC 1149, 1150.

What this means is that the Father has been taking the blame from day one for all that Lucifer, now Satan, has been doing from the beginning. But little by little Satan has been revealing his hideous and deformed character so the universe, as well as the whole angelic realm, will be able now to discover the truth and make an informed decision about the Father’s character as well as His Son and ultimately about the human race whom Satan has been accusing “day and night” before God’s throne. Rev. 12.

Right up until the wicked close their own probation Satan will be deceiving people right where you would least expect him to be, in the sanctuary itself. On page 54, 55 of “Early Writings” we read about a throne in which were seated both the Father and the Son.

“Before the throne I saw the Advent people – the church, and the world. I saw two companies, one bowed down before the throne, deeply interested, while the other stood uninterested and careless. Those who were bowed before the throne would offer up their prayers and look to Jesus; then He would look to the Father, and appear to be pleading with Him. A light would come from the father to the Son and from the Son to the praying company. Then I saw an exceeding bright light come from the Father to the Son, and from the Son it waved over the people before the throne. But few would receive this great light. Many came out from under it and immediately resisted it; others were careless and did not cherish the light, and it moved off from them. Some cherished it, and went and bowed down with the little praying company. This company all received the light and rejoiced in it, and their countenances shone with its glory.” EW 54, 55.

In the next paragraph we read how the Father rises from His throne and goes into the holy of holies or the Most Holy place. Jesus then went into the Most Holy with His Father but first He told those who had risen up with him to keep their garments spotless until He returned from the Wedding to receive them. Now to the point I want to make about this whole scene. “Those who rose up with Jesus would send up their faith to Him in the holiest, and pray, ‘My Father, give us Thy Spirit.’ Then Jesus would breathe upon them the Holy Ghost. In that breath was light, power, and much love, joy, and peace. I turned to look at the company who were still bowed before the throne; they did not know that Jesus had left it. Satan appeared to be by the throne, trying to carry on the work of God. I saw them look up to the throne, and pray, ‘Father, give us Thy Spirit.’ Satan would then breathe upon them an unholy influence; in it there was light and much power, but no sweet love, joy, and peace. Satan’s object was to keep them deceived and to draw back and deceive God’s children.” Isn’t this amazing how Satan has been allowed to deceive so many people through the centuries right up until our day. The only way to escape his deceptions is to be filled with the Spirit of God.

So, what do we have to do in order to receive this fulness of His Spirit? Listen:
“As we seek God for the Holy Spirit, it will work in us meekness, humbleness of mind, a conscious dependence upon God for the perfecting latter rain.” TM 509. The reason the Holy Ghost was successful in entering into those early disciples is because, first of all, the 120 humbled themselves, forgave each other and became one in mind and heart. In past ages, as today, the Lord has revealed Himself to certain individuals who willingly opened their hearts and minds to the in filling of the Spirit of God. We know this happened with Enoch before the flood because He was translated to heaven as a trophy of Divine Grace that the universe might behold God’s plan and goal to bring the whole human race to such perfection. But the people of that age went from bad to worse. Only Noah and his family were willing to enter into the ark of safety and survived the flood. All the rest of the human race at that time were destroyed. Gen 6. Jesus said that the people of this last age of earth’s history would become like those of Sodom. Luke 17:28-30.

And so it has been happening more and more as the media is constantly reporting Gay marriages and high profile people in Hollywood, Government and politics who are “coming out of the closet” to proclaim that they are GAY, i.e. homosexual or lesbian. And so we see the Gay Agenda today spreading its tentacles everywhere. Not only has the world, and now even the church, become like Sodom, the gas price is going up more every week which is going to lead to a terrible economic disaster. And yet the church is still asleep, dead asleep in sins and trespasses. The question is, what can we do to try and wake them up to the reality of their Laodicean condition? Soon the cry will go forth, “Come out of her my people.” Rev 18:1-4.

As I have prayed for more wisdom as what might be done to awaken God’s people the Lord has led me to this study today. As I write you the Lord has impressed me to share with you some of the Testimonies the Holy Ghost inspired the Servant of the Lord to write on Oct 2, 1868. But before I share this with you I would like to point out that I truly believe these words were an inspired and earnest appeal from the Lord to help the people become aware of their Laodicean condition. Remember this is the 19th century when people were much more conservative, reserved and respectful of religious authority. They were more responsive to spiritual appeals then they are today. Also notice the style of writing. In my opinion, it is actually written more for our day than it was for the people at that time because this is the way we communicate today. Read the speeches of Lincoln and other contemporaries. Their expressions were written in a more old world, Victorian style. So, EGW was way ahead of her time. “Desire of Ages” as well as her other volumes were written for us today. So, we need to pay close attention to what was written and reject the modern critics of the SOP who are striving to destroy her credibility and influence. Please pray as you read these words because they apply to us today more than any other generation.

“October 2, 1868. I was shown the state of God’s professed people. Many of them were in great darkness, yet seemed to be insensible of their true condition. The sensibilities of a large number seemed to be benumbed in regard to spiritual and eternal things, while their minds seemed all awake to their worldly interests. Many were cherishing idols in their hearts and were practicing iniquity which separated them from God and caused them to be in bodies of darkness. I saw but few who stood in the light, having discernment and spirituality to discover these stumbling blocks and remove them out of the way. Men who stand in very responsible positions at the heart of the work are asleep. Satan has paralyzed them in order that his plans and devices may not be discerned, while he is active to ensnare, deceive, and destroy.

Some who occupy the position of watchmen to warn the people of danger have given up their watch and recline at ease. They are unfaithful sentinels. They remain inactive, while their wily foe enters the fort and works successfully by their side to tear down what God has commanded to be built up. They see that Satan is deceiving the inexperienced and unsuspecting; they take it all quietly, as though they had no special interest, as though these things did not concern them. They apprehend no special danger; they see no cause to raise an alarm. To them everything seems to be going well. And they see no necessity of raising the faithful, trumpet notes of warning which they hear borne by the plain testimonies, to show the people their transgressions and the house of Israel their sins. These reproofs and warnings disturb the quiet of these sleepy, ease_loving sentinels, and they are not pleased. They say in heart, if not in words: ‘This is all uncalled for. It is too severe, too harsh. These men are unnecessarily disturbed and excited, and seem unwilling to give us any rest or quietude. ‘Yet take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them.’ They are not willing that we should have any comfort, peace, or happiness. It is active labor, toil, and unceasing vigilance alone which will satisfy these unreasonable, hard_to_be_suited watchmen. Why don’t they prophesy smooth things, and cry: Peace, peace? Then everything would move on smoothly.’

This testimony goes on to say that “Satan exalts” that he is so successful in deceiving so many and controlling the minds of professed (SDA) Christians. He has planted his “hellish banner right in their midst” yet they don’t even realize him for who he is. The people worship mammon or the almighty dollar. Their conscience is being sacrificed or compromised in order to achieve their goals. They are selfish and self-caring. “They love the things of this world, and have fellowship with the works of darkness. They are idolaters, and are worse, far worse, in the sight of God than the heathen, graven-image worshipers who have not knowledge of a better way.”

Then a description is given of those who are humbly and willingly obeying the Lord and his requirements and who have a holy character which is discerned by the world. “I saw that but few among us answer to this description, those who are living branches of the heavenly Vine (Jesus) will partake of the sap and nourishment of the Vine, they will be careful to depart from all iniquity and to perfect holiness in the fear of God.” Now all of the above is in preparation for what I am not going to share with you word for word because it is so shocking and even mind blowing. I have shared it in the past but it applies now more than ever. Remember that this was written in 1868.

“Like ancient Israel the church has dishonored her God by departing from the light, neglecting her duties, and abusing her high and exalted privilege of being peculiar and holy in character. Her members have violated their covenant to live for God and Him only. They have joined with the selfish and world-loving. Pride, the love of pleasure, and sin have been cherished, and Christ has departed. His Spirit has been quenched in the church. Satan works side by side with professed Christians; yet they are so destitute of spiritual discernment that they do not detect him.” 2T 442. Notice here the word “detect.” What does that word indicate that God expects us to be? It means that we are to be “detectives” who have enough intelligence to do an investigation so that we can discern truth from error and a bad spirit or an evil spirit from a good and righteous spirit. But the Lord is telling us here that God’s professed people do not possess enough “spiritual discernment” to realize or know when Satan is right in the midst of their church sanctuary carrying on his diabolical work. And what is the result? “Christ has departed.”

Now, that was 1868. Jesus Christ left the SDA church in 1868 the same as He departed from the Jews in 33 AD when they crucified Jesus and He has never returned, anymore than He has ever returned to the Jewish nation. When was Jesus crucified by this professed church? It was sometime before 1868. So, the message of 1888 by Jones & Waggoner was given as a plea for God’s professed leaders at that time to invite Jesus back into the church. But once again they put Him on trial, rejected Him and crucified Him. And each decade and generation it has just gotten worse and worse until the church today allows abortions in their hospitals and homosexuals to join their ranks.

Now, let’s go back to the death of Uzzah. He died for his presumptuous act of touching the ark which was against the letter of the law. After this, David, stored the ark of the covenant in the house of Obededom the Gittite for three months. This was 1045 BC. Three years later in 1042 BC David removed the ark from Obededom’s house and placed it in a tent that he had pitched for it, I Chron 16:1. He even wrote a Psalm to commemorate this event, Psalm 105, which is also recorded in I Chron 16:8-36. Verse 29 is what started me on this research about David and the sacred ark of the covenant and his fascination with it. In fact, in the movie starring Richard Here, who plays David, this story of David bringing the ark of the covenant into the city of Jerusalem with such great fanfare is given a lot of emphasis in the film. Is the Lord trying to tell us something here by inspiring such an epic film? Isn’t it amazing that the Lord has to go to the world to reveal truths which the church has ignored and neglected.

The ark of the covenant is also prominently featured in the film starring Harrison Ford, “Indiana Jones & the Ark of the covenant.” I just went to Google.com to find out the details of this film which I will share here with you. I have seen the film more than once but the main scene that has always been burned into my mind is the one at the end of the movie when Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and his girl friend Marian (Karen Allen) are tied to wood posts as the German archeologist tries to summon up the powers that control the ark so he can use it to destroy the enemies of Hitler’s Third Reich. The time was in the 30’s, about 1936 or 37. Here is an excerpt which explains their understanding of this scene.

“Marion and Indy are tied up while Belloq (who plays the archeologist and high priest) performs a ceremonial opening of the Ark. Spirits emerge from within; Indy, aware of the supernatural danger of looking at the opened Ark, warns Marion to close her eyes. Belloq and the Nazis, who do not look away, are violently killed by the Ark’s supernatural powers, and the Ark closes itself once more, accompanied by a crack of thunder. Back in Washington, D.C., the two Army intelligence men tell a suspicious Jones that “top men” are carefully studying the Ark. In reality, the Ark is sealed in a wooden crate and stored in a giant government warehouse filled with countless similar crates.”

Now, here is what is not revealed in the above critique about that very mysterious and supernatural scene at the close of the movie.

Out of the ark comes this very beautiful female angelic like being, clothed in some kind of flowing blue gown or robe and Belloq, dressed up as a high priest, looks at her with great astonishment and exclaims in his German accent, “Bee-yoo-ti-ful.” I do not remember more than one spirit but just this one very beautiful female angel who suddenly turns into the most hideous looking, ugly being which resembles death itself with a skull like head and Belloq is suddenly terrified. Then flames shoot out from every direction from the ark and Belloq and all of his Nazi soldiers are burned up in a matter of seconds.

What kind of impression does this give people about the Ark of the Covenant? It is simply that the supernatural powers within in are very mysterious, supernatural and extremely dangerous, as David Himself believed after the death of Uzzah. But this story about the ark in the days of David, as well as this movie starring Harrison Ford, have reinforced and confirmed what most theologians and Christians believe about the Hebrew God of the Old Testament, i.e. He/She is both beautiful, mysterious and extremely dangerous because you can die instantly, without a moments notice or warning if you offend the God of the Ark of the Covenant. Yet, our fascination with the ark itself, as well as with the God family continues on.

So, we need to pray and ask the Lord to help us to understand the real truth about this female being who was revealed in the movie and whom the Hebrews revered and worshiped as the Shekinah glory. Obviously she has not only been slandered and her name dragged through the mud and slime for more than 6,000 years but today is either totally ignored or denied that she even exists as a sacred entity.

For now, let me say, that the emergence of that beautiful female being from the ark first represented the Shekinah. And then the second phase of her emergence turning into death itself represents Satan and his presence in the ark as the “lord” of the whole animal sacrifice system. From the time of Adam and Eve’s expulsion from Eden the “god” who continued to speak to them was the “god of this world” or “Satan.” “For I desire and delight in dutiful steadfast love and goodness, not sacrifice, and the knowledge of and acquaintance with God more than burnt offerings. [Matt. 9:13; 12:7.] But they like [less-privileged] men and like Adam, have transgressed the covenant; there have they dealt faithlessly and treacherously with Me.” Hosea 6:6, 7.

I have explained this in great detail in my book, “Into the Father’s Heart,” in the chapter on the “ANIMAL SACRIFICE SYSTEM.” Now, let’s go to Leviticus 1:1-3 to see who this “lord” is that requires and demands the sacrifice of innocent animals. “The (true) Lord called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the lord (Satan) , ye shall bring your offering of the of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock. If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord (Satan).”

Notice that it was a “voluntary” act which means the true God did is not the One who was requiring it. Notice: “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? Saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts: and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?” Isa 1:10-12. The Spanish translation reads: “?Quien demanda esto de vosotros?” Who demands this of you? Now let’s read what happened to two of the sons of Aaron who got drunk and broke the rules regarding the correct procedure for offering fire. “Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, too their respective firepans, and after putting fire in them, placed incense on it and offered strange fire before the lord (Satan), which He had not commanded them. And fire came out from the presence of the lord (Satan) and consumed them, and they died before the lord (Satan).” Leviticus 10:1, 2. “Nadab and Abihu would never have committed that fatal sin had they not first become partially intoxicated by the free us of wine.” PP 361.

The “strange” fire was what the commentary calls “ordinary” fire. “It was not taken from the altar of burnt offering, whose fire God Himself had kindled and which was therefore sacred (ch 16:12, 13). In the court of the congregation there were hearths where the priest prepared their food, and it may be that Nadab and Abihu took their common fire from thence.” BC 1 749. There is no indication that the commentary authors nor EGW understood the concept of the Two Lords. This is a last day understanding on level #3, “The Two Lords or Gods.” You can read about it yourself in two chapters, 11 and 17 of my book, “INTO THE FATHER’S HEART.” There are also other references in the general index. It is important to understand that “God’s Fire” is never literal. Literal fire never existed until after the fall. “Satan works through the elements also to garner his harvest of unprepared souls. He has studied the secrets of the laboratories of nature, and he uses all his power to control the elements as far as God allows.” GC 589. So, just remember that every time literal fire is mentioned in the Bible and manifested in nature in the past or today, it is Satan doing it. Yet, insurance companies and most of the human race today still blame God for it, calling it “AN ACT OF GOD.”

The point is that there are two gods and two lords throughout the history of the Great Controversy and especially in the history of ancient Israel in their wilderness wanderings with this sacred ark of the covenant so revered by David and all of Israel. Who were those two angels, the two Cherubim, who hovered above the ark in the Most Holy place? And who was the Pillar by day and the Fire at night? These are things we need to know to understand the truth about God and His true character in these last days. In the index to the EGW writings, under “Shekinah” are the following references revealing that the Shekinah was “above the mercy seat: 4BC 1139; PK 18; PP 349; 6T 221 (2TT 479); 8T 284. Above the ark of covenant PP 349, 584.; Christ’s glory dwelt in COL 288; PK 18; 6T 221 (2T 479).” “Christ was the leader of the children of Israel in their wilderness wanderings.

Enshrouded in the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, He led and guided them…They were hedged about by the precepts of His law, the everlasting principles of truth, justice, and purity. Obedience to these principles was to be their protection, for it would save them from destroying themselves by sinful practices… Christ was their instructor. As He had been with them in the wilderness, so He was still to be their teacher and guide. In the tabernacle and the temple His glory dwelt in the holy shekinah above the mercy seat. In their behalf He constantly manifested the riches of His love and patience.”

Notice that EGW states that Christ was in the cloud and in the pillar of fire both. She did not realize that the Shekinah was a feminine being and the spouse of Christ which Proverbs 8:22-31 and Song of Solomon reveal: “Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! How much better is thy love than wine! And the smell of thine ointments than all spices.” Song of Solomon 4:8, 9; 5:1. “His glory” means “His spouse or wife,” because the Bible says: “The woman is the glory of the man.” I Cor 11:7.

But EGW did define this “Angel of Mercy” as a feminine angel. “While the procession was halting on the brow of Olivet, it was not yet too late for Jerusalem to repent. The Angel of Mercy was then folding HER wings to step down from the golden throne to give place to justice and swift-coming judgment.” Desire of Ages, 578. In Zechariah 3:1 there is an incredible insight into the daily operation of how the Great Controversy between Christ was carried out. “And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at His right hand to resist him. And the Lord said unto Satan, the Lord rebuke thee, O Satan, even the Lord that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire.” This reminds me of Jude 9 where Michael, who is Jesus, rebuked the devil (Satan). “Yet Michael the ArchAngel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord (Yahweh Father) rebuke thee.” In Rev 1:1 we read of this same Angel of Mercy. “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John.” Who is John referring to when He says, “His angel?” The answer is very simple.

There is only one angel the Bible says that Christ (Michael) worked with throughout the 6,000 years of the Great Controversy. Her name is Gabrielle whom Isaiah identifies as “The angel of His presence.” Isa 63:9. In Dan 10:13 Gabrielle told Daniel that “Michael, the first prince (chief prince) came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” This reveals that both Michael and Gabrielle evidently can only be at one place at a time. They are not omnipresent like the Father and the Mother, Yahweh and El Shaddai. In Daniel 9:23 and 10:14 and Luke 1:19 we read that Gabrielle is “sent” and “commanded” by the Father, the same as Jesus, on errands of mercy to carry out the will of the Father and Mother. Remember that Jesus always claimed that He was only speaking exactly what His Father told Him to say. “I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and you do that which you have seen with your father.” John 8:38. Read through John 6, 7 and 8 and you will see many texts in which Jesus repeatedly stated that He was only saying and doing that which He had seen His Father say and do. Here is what I wrote two issues ago in GLC newspaper regarding the feminine image and the God family, i.e. Father, Mother, Son and daughter.

Although the ancient Hebrew scribes purposely and deliberately edited out the feminine endings to all the nouns throughout the Old Testament (and I have documented proof of that) they were not allowed to change the feminine colors in Rev 4 and Dan 10. In Isaiah 49 the Mother of our race is being accused of forsaking her children. “But Zion (Jerusalem)…said, the Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me. [And the Lord answered] Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I (your true Mother) will not forget you.” Isa 49:15. So, who is this mother? According to Proverbs 8:22_31; Song of Solomon 4:9 and 5:1, she is the spouse of the Creator, Jesus Christ who referred to her in Matt 11:19. “But Wisdom (who was leading and guiding Him) is justified of her children.” Remember at His baptism the Dove came down on Him, symbolic of the Holy Ghost which entered into Him in Her fulness at that time and remained with Him throughout His ministry.

Christ’s statement about Wisdom being “justified” or “vindicated” by her children was in response to the Jewish leader’s criticisms of Him being a “wine bibber and glutton.” If Wisdom is actually a secret code word and/or title for the Mother of this race in the Old Testament, as Proverbs 8 indicates, then who is she today? Well, if she was manifested on the Day of Pentecost as the “Comforter” who appeared in the Tongues of Fire on the heads of the disciples and filled and fitted her children at that time to preach the gospel to all the then known world She must also be that same Holy Ghost who is to be manifested in our day in this final segment of time during the Latter Rain, because our God never changes. Psalm 89:34; Mal 3:6; Heb 13:8; James 1:17.

For those who wish to resist and refuse to believe this argument let me ask you. “Is there only a Father and a Son in the God head which Paul mentions in Rom 1:19, 20?”

Paul speaks boldly on this point: “For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them. For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made…So they (mankind) are without excuse.” So, what is it that is clearly known by what He has made? Gen 1:26, 27.

“Let US make man in our own image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the earth.” Who are the US? Is it only two males? A Father and a Son? No, that would be impossible. Why? Because of the simple fact that Eve being a female would have to have a Mother who brought her forth or created her. The Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit throughout the Bible along with the Hebrew and Greek words Wisdom, Mercy and Comforter are all in the feminine. Sophia is the Greek counterpart of the Hebrew word Wisdom. Both are always in the feminine. As you read the rest of Romans 1 it becomes abundantly clear that Paul is exposing Satan’s distortion of God’s original plan via the sexual perversion of homosexuality which today has emerged in our society as the “Gay Agenda.”

This new age social phenomenon has become so powerful that it is now a “hate crime” to speak against this monstrous evil which is destroying the very fabric of the family in our culture and society today. Even a brief survey of history reveals that every society who permitted homosexuality to become the dominant lifestyle perished from the earth. Sodom and Gomorrah are two prime examples, exhibit A & B. And the same proved true in the Roman culture of which Paul was a citizen and was referring to in his day. “Does not skillful and godly Wisdom cry out, and understanding raise her voice?” Proverbs 8:1. The speaker here is obviously a woman, clearly personifying herself as the spouse of the Creator beginning in Vs 22. Here is a woman who existed before the world began and was every bit as much as a “master craftsman” and “builder” as Christ Himself whom we know to be the Creator of this planet via His heavenly Father. “Then I [Wisdom] was beside Him as a master and director of the work; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing before Him always. [Matt 3:17; John 1:2, 18].” Amplified. “Jerusalem, which is above is free, which is the Mother of us all.” Gal 4:26. Je=Jehovah in the feminine; Ru=Ruach or Spirit; Salem=Shalom or peace.” In addition to all of the above let us remember that Jesus referred to Himself as “the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” I mention this for those who may think that Wisdom is just an idea or concept through which the Lord is speaking in Proverbs 8. Furthermore, Jesus Himself is called “Wisdom” in I Cor 1:30. “But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption.” Paul tells us that in Christ are “Hid all the treasures of Wisdom and knowledge.” Col 2:3.

When Jesus was baptized at the Jordan the Holy Ghost came down upon Him, rested and remained upon Him which means she indwelt Him at that time. This is the same Hebrew word meaning “dwell or dwelt.” “And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon Him.” John 1:32. The words “Remaining” or “remained” and “abode” are all from the same Greek word “Meno” which means to remain or dwell. Strong’s 3306. The Hebrew word “Shakan” also means “to dwell” and is where we get the word “Shekinah” or “Shekinah glory” which is the “feminine face of God.” In Hebrews 4:5, 8 Paul tells us that ancient Israel never “entered not in because of unbelief.” Strong’s 2663 & 2664.

The Hebrew word Paul uses is “katapausis” meaning “to settle down or colonize.” They wandered 40 years in the Sinai desert without ever allowing Jesus to abide or dwell in them. In fact, that whole generation of unbelievers died in the wilderness without ever settling down with the Lord allowing Him to give them “rest.” That is what Jesus meant when He said, “Come unto me and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest (salvation) unto your souls.” Matt 11:28-30. To become One with Jesus means to allow His Spirit (Holy Ghost) to abide or dwell in you to set up house and become married to you. In Ruth 1:9 and 3:1 the Hebrew word translated “Rest” is “Menuehah” from Strong’s 4494 and 4496 and means to get married and settle down in a home with your husband.

Throughout the 4,000 years of the Old Testament, from the Fall of Adam until the birth of Christ, Michael and Gabrielle were learning how to do battle with Satan and to overcome him and his fallen, evil angels. Dan 10:12_21 is a special insight into this battle that Michael and Gabrielle waged all those millenniums.

Michael is mentioned five times and Gabrielle in Daniel 8:16 and Luke 1:19, 26. Her name is also Wisdom and Holy Ghost. She has been kept “under wraps” as it were as we read in Joel 2:16. “Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts (believers who are still on milk and not into the meat of the Word); let the bridegroom (Michael or Jesus) go forth of His chamber, and the bride out of her closet.” KJV. The NAS reads, “out of her bridal chamber.” And so they are getting reading for the “Marriage Supper of the Lamb.”

When the dove (Holy Ghost) came down and remained, abode and indwelt Jesus at the time of His baptism she then stayed with Him for 3 years. All the information, knowledge and wisdom the Father and Mother had taught them both together about how to do battle with Satan was resident in the Holy Ghost so that when she went inside of Him, becoming part of Him, blending together perfectly with Him He immediately knew everything she knew. And so it was at that time that “All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Col 2:3) was given to Him in order for Him to fulfill His mission. Before His baptism, for 30 years, Jesus was an ordinary human being like us except that His mind was connected to His heavenly Father like Adam before the fall. He assumed our fallen flesh, but not our nature until He entered the Garden of Gethsemane. So, when He was filled with the Wisdom of the Holy Ghost at His baptism He became the second Adam. That is when He was “anointed” and became the Messiah.

This means He received all of the gifts Adam had before the fall in order to fulfill His mission but He never used them in a selfish way for Himself. That is how He was able to walk on water, heal the sick, raise the dead and read people’s minds. On the day of Pentecost this same Shekinah Glory entered into (indwelt) the 120 and gave them all of the gifts they used to found the Christian church. That was the early rain. The Latter Rain is coming and we will have the opportunity to also be filled with the same Shekinah Glory. The Hebrew word “Abode” is from the Hebrew word “Yashab” Strong’s 3427. In John 1:39 Jesus invited two of John’s disciples to come and see where He “abode.” “They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day; for it was about the tenth hour.” That would have been about 4:00 PM Roman time or two hours before sunset.

I wrote about the Son and Daughter in my last book, “Into the Father’s Heart,” pages 336, 337 by showing the relationship between Michael and Gabriel in the book of Daniel where Gabrielle explains and reveals to Daniel that Michael and her are equals and working together side by side, albeit alone, as a team, against the enemy throughout the Old Testament period. If Michael is the Son of God, which we know He is, and Gabrielle is His equal, then this means she also is deity, even the daughter of the Most High, the Princess. Furthermore, in Luke 1:19 Gabrielle told Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist, “I stand in the Presence of God.”

As we have noted, Paul speaks about the family in heaven being the same as the family on earth. Eph 3:14, 15. We all know that in this world the human race has both fathers and mothers. Everyone is born into this world in the same way, through the seed of a Father, which he plants in the uterus of the female, the mother. The baby then grows inside the mother’s womb and after nine months is brought forth or born. Gen 1:26, 27 clearly states we, humanity, were created in the very likeness and image of God the Father and God the Mother. Now let’s talk about the daughter because there is also an only begotten Daughter as well as an only begotten Son.

I Found out in my research on the Dove tonight that in Song of Solomon Christ calls His Spouse, “My sister, My Spouse” and also “My Dove.” So, that tells us who the Dove really is, who anointed Jesus at His Baptism at the Jordan river. So, she now has these names:
1. Wisdom. 2. Shekinah. 3. Dove. Sister/Spouse of Christ. 4. Gabrielle (all old Testament) and in the NT she is (1) Holy Ghost (Her mother is the Holy Spirit). (2) Wisdom, Matthew 11:19, Luke 7:35. “Wisdom is justified/vindicated by all of her children” (even those who do not know her yet and are not obedient yet looking to the future.”

Psalms 55:6; 68:13; Isaiah 38:14; Jeremiah 48:28; Hosea 7:11; 11:11; Matthew 3:16; Mk 1:10; Luke 3:22; John 1:32; 2 Kings 6:25;5:12; Isaiah 59:11; 60:8; Ezekiel 7:16; Nahum 2:7; Matthew 10:16; Mt 21:12; Mark 11:15; John 2:14; Song of Solomon 1:15; 4:1.

“My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, She is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her, the Queen and the concubines, and they praised her. SS 5:1. “My sister, my spouse: I sleep; but my heart wakes. It is the voice of my beloved that knocks, saying open to me, my sister my love, My dove, my undefiled. Song of Solomon 2:14 – “O, my Dove, thou art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice, and thy countenance is comely. 2:17. Christ is like a roe or a young hart.

Solomon called his book “The Song of Songs,” possibly indicating that Solomon considered it the most marvelous of the 1005 songs he wrote (I Kings 4:32). Some think it was written to celebrate his marriage to his first and favorite wife. Scholars who know Hebrew poetry consider this book to be a superb composition. Halley’s Handbook of the Bible. 306, 307. Possibly one third of it is prose or poetry. Hebrew poetry does not rhyme like English poetry. Two primary possibilities. 1. Imagery. 2. Parallelism. Superb composition but it makes sudden transitions with no explanation, therefore it is hard to follow and decipher.

In Hebrew the change of speakers is indicated by GENDER, i.e. male or female speaking and extra space. The Bride is the Shulamimite. The king is the speaker. I Kings 11:3. Solomon had 60 wives and 80 concubines in his harem when he wrote the Song of Solomon. Later it was 700 wives and 300 concubines. I Kings 11:3.

The title in Hebrew reads ‘Solomon’s Song of Songs’. The Latin word is ‘Canticles’. The construction of ‘Song of Songs’ indicates that this is the greatest and highest of all songs, similar to ‘King of kings and Lord of lords’. (1 Timothy 6:15). Canon. The placement of the book in the canon of Scripture has been questioned by some on the basis that the word God is not found in the book and the New Testament does not quote from it. The same is true about the book of Esther. But the simple fact that it has always been placed among the other Old Testament books is strong reason for accepting it. The Jewish debate was resolved by the famous declaration of Rabbi Akiva where he highly regarded the book calling it the Holy of Holies and most holy of sacred writings.

How seriously do we take the statement “Our little world is the lesson book of the universe?” DA 19. This is one sentence out of the second paragraph of the first page of the first chapter of “Desire of Ages,” entitled: “God With Us.” Let read together and contemplate more fully the deeper implications of the following incredible statement:
“By coming to dwell with us, Jesus was to reveal God both to men and to angels. He was the Word of God, – God’s thought made audible. In His prayer for His disciples He says, ‘I have declared unto them Thy name,’ – ‘merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,’ – ‘ the love wherewith Thou hast loved Me may be in them, and I in them.’ But not alone for His earthborn children was this revelation given. Our little world is the lesson book of the universe. God’s wonderful purpose of grace, the mystery of redeeming love, is the theme into which ‘angels desire to look,’ and it will be their study throughout endless ages. Both the redeemed and the unfallen beings will find in the cross of Christ their science and their song. It will be seen that the glory shining in the face of Jesus is the glory of self-sacrificing love. In the light from Calvary it will be seen that the law of self-renouncing love is the law of life for earth and heaven; that the love which ‘seeketh not her own’ has its source in the heart of God; and that in the meek and lowly One is manifested the character of Him who dwelleth in the light which no man can approach unto.” DA 19, 20.

Even as you read these lines the angelic realm, good and evil, as well as the unfallen worlds are learning the real truth about God and Satan as they watch the events on planet earth and observe how Christ relates to us and we to Him and His spouse, our creators. “Not until the death of Christ was the character of Satan clearly revealed to the angels or to the unfallen worlds. The archapostate had so clothed himself with deception that even holy beings had not understood his principles. They had not clearly seen the nature of his rebellion. It was a being of wonderful power and glory that had set himself against God. Of Lucifer the Lord says, ‘Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.” Ezek 28:12. Lucifer had been the covering cherub. He had stood in the light of God’s presence. He had been the highest of all created beings, and had been foremost in revealing God’s purposes to the universe. After he sinned, his power to deceive was the more deceptive, and the unveiling of his character was the more difficult, because of the exalted position he had held with the Father. God could have destroyed Satan and his sympathizers as easily as one can cast a pebble to the earth; but He did not do this. Rebellion was not to be overcome by force. Compelling power is found only under Satan’s government. The Lord’s principles are not of this order. His authority rests upon goodness, mercy, and love; and the presentation of these principles is the means to be used. God’s government is moral, and truth and love are to be the prevailing power. It was God’s purpose to place things on an eternal basis of security, and in the councils of heaven it was decided that time must be given for Satan to develop the principles which were the foundation of his system of government. He had claimed that these were superior to God’s principles. Time was given for the working of Satan’s principles, that they might be seen by the heavenly universe. Satan led men into sin, and the plan of redemption was put in operation. For four thousand years, Christ was working for man’s uplifting, and Satan for his ruin and degradation. And the heavenly universe beheld it all.” DA 758, 759.

(2) Furthermore, I am presently working on what perhaps is the biggest research adventure of my life, seeking to go deeper into this subject of the Shekinah glory, whom I believe was also called Wisdom in the OT (Sophia in the Greek) and in the NT was the Holy Ghost. And I also believe that she was manifested in the book of Daniel with Michael as the Angel of His Presence which I have identified as the angel Gabrielle. I explain this in detail in my latest book, “A Commentary on Revelation; with References to Daniel.” And let me say that she is appearing to people in dreams and speaking to certain ones the Father is choosing at the same time the Marian appearances are taking place, which is her counterfeit.
